Advice Support Which colors on an outlet, go to which wire?Generally there is a gold(brass) and a silver screw on opposing sides of a United States spec edison plug (3 prong 120volts). The Black wire goes to the gold wire and the white wire goes to the silver side. Green should always be the ground in any North American circuit. |
